Troyke tables have a .001” of a degree resolution which means they can be programmed to 360,000 positions in 360 degrees. It is standard for a 3 axis vertical machining center to call the rotary table the A axis. In a typical program it is referred to as (A) word. Absolute or incremental moves are programmed with normal
G-codes (G90) or (G91). Feed rates for the A axis are programmed in degrees per minute using an (F) word.
